"The Hawthorne Suites in Alexandria, VA was the perfect home away from home for our recent family visit to Washinton, DC. Our suite was clean and incredibly spacious and gave our family plenty of room which is always a plus when traveling with teenagers. The kids loved the big screen TV and the pool; mom enjoyed the full size kitchen and we all appreciated the daily hot breakfast and dinner (at no extra cost) - that was an incredible savings for our family. The shuttle service to/from the metro gave us easy access to anywhere on the metro line. Everyone we met was courteous and eager to make our visit a pleasant one.
